I am alive, the spirits sword

A witness new and old

 

I judge you now, I’ll judge you then

My face you cannot know

 

Moses let me lead him to

the place God said to go.

 

I am a reed to measure

the stature of your soul.

 

I am a comfort to the heart

to those who know and love me

 

A torment to rebellious souls,

whose blinded eyes wont see.

 

My rod can guide the erring soul

Back to his Fathers feet

 

I am the only witness

your soul will ever need

 

When before the Lord you stand

On that great Judgement day

 

God will only judge you

by what I have to say.

 

Open, read, obey me!

Your work will soon be done!

 

I am the Holy Bible,

Gods way to lead you home!

 

And I will be your final witness

in judgement before our Lord
